Již v dubnu 2020 se MUDr. Ondřeji Hradskému z FN Motol úplně nepozdával
přístup české vlády k epidemii. Na základě běžně dostupných COVIDových
dat potom O. Hradský ve spolupráci s A. Komárkem odhadnul statistický
model, který naznačuje, že ani na jaře 2020 nebyla Česká republika „best
in COVID“ a naopak ani tehdejší pranýřování Švédska nebo Itálie za
nezvládnutí epidemie nebylo zcela na místě. Stačí se podívat, v jakých
„rizikových“ faktorech, např. stáří populace, se jednotlivé státy liší a
